The most popular boat trip from Kaş. Sail to the famous sunken Lycian city of Kekova, where ancient walls and staircases are visible beneath clear water. Includes swimming stops in turquoise bays, a visit to Kaleköy (Simena) village and its hilltop castle, and lunch on board. Boats depart from Kaş harbour around 10 AM and return by 5–6 PM.

Kekova by Sea Kayak

Paddle a sea kayak over the sunken city — the only way to get truly close to the underwater ruins (swimming above them is prohibited). More intimate than a boat trip. Includes guide, lunch, and all equipment. Moderate fitness required.

How much does a Kekova boat trip cost?

Group boat trips cost around 500–800 TL per person including lunch. Private gulet charters start from around 5,000–8,000 TL per day for the whole boat.

Do I need to book in advance?

In July–August, yes. In spring and autumn, you can usually book the day before or even the morning of. Ask us and we'll help arrange it.

Can I swim at the sunken city?

Swimming directly over the sunken city is prohibited to protect the ruins. But there are beautiful swimming stops nearby on the same trip. Sea kayaking lets you paddle over the ruins.

Are boat trips suitable for children?

Yes, most boat trips are family-friendly. Children usually love swimming stops and Kaleköy village. Life jackets are provided. Ask the operator about facilities.

Can I visit Meis (Greek island)?

Yes, daily ferries run from Kaş harbour to Meis (Kastellorizo) in summer. The crossing takes about 20 minutes. You need your passport. EU citizens don't need a visa.
