Canyon
A dramatic underwater canyon with walls covered in colourful sponges. Schools of barracuda, grouper, and moray eels. The most popular dive site in Kaş.
Airplane Wreck
A small military training aircraft resting on a sandy bottom. Clear visibility and easy penetration. A classic Kaş dive.
Uçansu Canyon
A wide canyon with freshwater springs mixing with seawater. Unique visibility effects and diverse marine life. Good for beginners at the shallow end.
Lighthouse (Fener)
A reef off the lighthouse point with excellent biodiversity — octopus, nudibranchs, sea turtles, and moray eels. Great for night dives.
Aquarium
A sheltered shallow site perfect for first dives and snorkeling. Very clear water and abundant fish life.
Amphora Reef
Ancient amphorae scattered on the seabed among rocks. A fascinating combination of archaeology and marine life.

Is Kaş good for diving?
Kaş is widely considered the best diving destination in Turkey. Over 30 dive sites, excellent visibility (often 25m+), and diverse marine life including sea turtles, octopus, and colourful Mediterranean reef species.
Can beginners dive in Kaş?
Absolutely. Several dive centres offer Discover Scuba (intro dives) for complete beginners, starting from €40–50. No certification needed. There are also sheltered shallow sites perfect for first-time divers.
What certifications can I get?
PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and specialty courses are available at multiple dive centres in Kaş. An Open Water course takes 3–4 days and costs around €300–400.
When is the best time to dive?
May to October. Water temperature is 18–28°C. Visibility is best in May–June and September–October. You can dive year-round, but winter requires a thicker wetsuit.
How much does diving cost?
A single fun dive costs €35–50. Two-dive packages are common at €60–80. Intro dives (Discover Scuba) start from €40. Multi-day packages bring the price down.
