How to Get to Kaş

Two airports, scenic coastal roads, and easy transfer options — here's how to reach this corner of the Turkish Riviera.

From Dalaman Airport (DLM)

~185 km — 2.5 to 3 hours

Private Transfer

Car Rental

Available at the airport from all major companies. The D400 coast road via Fethiye is one of Turkey's most scenic drives. Allow 3 hours and watch for sharp curves.

Bus

Budget option. Havaş shuttle to Fethiye, then Fethiye–Kaş bus. Total 4–5 hours with the transfer. Buses run regularly in summer.

From Antalya Airport (AYT)

~190 km — 3 to 3.5 hours

Private Transfer

Same comfort, slightly longer drive. ~50–70 EUR per car. The route passes through Kemer, Olympos, and Demre — all worth a stop if you have time.

Car Rental

Take the D400 west along the coast. Spectacular scenery. Allow 3.5 hours with rest stops.

Direct Bus

Several daily buses from Antalya Otogar to Kaş. About 3.5 hours. The most affordable option at ~200–300 TL.

Our recommendation: Fly into Dalaman for the shorter drive. If you're renting a car, the D400 coast road is one of the most beautiful drives in Turkey — just don't rush it, especially at night. For hassle-free arrival, let us arrange a private transfer.

Which airport is closest to Kaş?

Dalaman (DLM) is slightly closer at ~2.5 hours. Antalya (AYT) is ~3 hours. Both have good transfer options. Choose based on flight availability and price.

Is there a bus from the airport?

Not directly. From Dalaman, take Havaş to Fethiye then a bus to Kaş. From Antalya, take a direct bus from the otogar (bus station). Total time: 4–5 hours.

How much is a private transfer?

From Dalaman: ~40–60 EUR per car (not per person). From Antalya: ~50–70 EUR per car. We can arrange transfers — just tell us your flight details.

Should I rent a car?

Useful for day trips to Kaputaş, Patara, and Kekova, but not necessary in Kaş itself. The D400 coast road is beautiful but winding. If you do rent, book at the airport for best availability.

Can I get to Kaş by boat?

There are ferries to Meis (Greece) from Kaş harbour, but no regular domestic ferry service to Kaş from other Turkish cities.
